Grape varieties:·

  • Dominance of Grenache

Vinification:

The Cuvée Etienne de Vesc is vinified in the same way as the Cuvée Terroir, namely through a rigorous selection of grape varieties and grape quality in terms of maturation and sanitary condition. It is a traditional vinification process, with a long vatting period of approximately 20 days. The difference between the two vintages lies in the maturing: the Cuvée Etienne de Vesc matures in casks between 9 and 12 months.

Tasting:

  • Visual aspect: concentrated red colour.
  • Olfactory aspect: good intensity with hints of black fruits and wood (vanilla), combined with tinges of pepper. ·
  • Gustatory aspect: full-bodied, well built, corpulent, integrating the wood tannins well to offer a harmonious whole.

Accompanying foods and wines:

This vintage is well suited to red meats, full-flavoured dishes, such as game, and also cheese.

Serving temperature:

This wine should be served at room temperature, preferably decanted, offering it the chance to express itself. 18 to 20°C is the ideal temperature.

Storage:

It is a vin de garde, meaning that it can be kept for several years.
